Products

For many years, we have established strategic partnerships with some of the best manufacturers in the industry. This ensures our customers will always have the top quality brand of products available from a single source supplier. Today, we are very proud of the fact that these same partners are committed to sustainable practices and the delivery of innovative products that are environmentally responsible without compromising performance.

Charlotte Products Ltd. one of our largest partners and chemical manufacturers is part of the Swish Group of Companies. Together we started the journey to focus on manufacturing environmentally responsible products in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

This has given us the reputation of being "pioneers" in the sanitation industry for the development and launch of seventy-five (75 )ECP (EcoLogo) and eleven (11) Green Seal certified environmentally responsible cleaning products. In 1992, we were awarded the first Environmental Citizen Award in recognition of our early accomplishments by the Canadian Sanitation Supply Association (CSSA).

In addition to making healthier and safer products, using environmentally responsible packaging also has been a priority since the 1980s and today, virtually all of our products have recyclable packaging. Similarly, we source vendor partners who offer resource efficient cleaning equipment, tools and products that complement our cleaning products.

For many years, we have been able to offer our customers "sustainable value" based on having independent scientific data to support our assertion that the products formulated, packaged and sold by us are truly environmentally responsible while still being able to meet high performance standards.

We are proud of our extensive offering of certified green cleaning products under the Enviro-Solutions and Swish Clean & Green™ cleaning solution brand names. Swish Clean & Green™ brand also consists of garbage bags and paper products. These products are certified as environmentally preferable under either Canada's Environmental Choice Program (EcoLogo) or the United States' Green Seal Program. They are provided by manufacturers and vendors committed to sustainability and high quality standards to assist us in meeting our sustainability goals and our customers.

We also commend Charlotte Products Ltd. for their success in becoming the only Canadian manufacturer to obtain DIN certification from Health Canada to formulate a colourless, odourless disinfectant that kills a broad spectrum of bacteria, fungi and viruses using of silver technology (silver dihydrogen citrate or SDC). This new type of SDC-based disinfectant, sold in Canada under the Swish Silver Supreme brand, is also ECP (EcoLogo) certified and thus, has a significantly lower environmental impact than many other kinds of disinfectants used in the janitorial and sanitation industry today. We also have authorization to sell this new disinfectant product in the United States under our Swish and Enviro-Solutions brands.

Without a doubt, cleaning has become a fundamental need in society and is important in every setting. There is also heightened pressure to develop specialized cleaning solutions and disinfectants that can meet current public health concerns associated with increasingly robust viruses and bacteria. Swish Maintenance has gained further recognition as a provider of total cleaning solutions that meets specialized cleaning needs with the introduction of our PCS product line and as a result, is expanding its customer base sectors to strengthen education and health care.
